Natural Remedy for Bipolar and Depression

Posted by admin on Jul 4, 2009

There is a vast amount of data from traditional psychiatry, that opines Bipolar Disorder to be a genetic disorder, but that doesn’t explain what causes it.

The inability to break down Norepinephrine due to a deficiency in an enzyme called COMT is one objective finding I have found useful in explaining to patients why they behave or react certain ways. (And this one is a genetic find)

Pfeiffer reported that those who have daily or day-to-day mood swings have food allergies or hypoglycemia. In addition, he said they are pyroluric and are easily treated with adequate doses of B6 and Zinc. (do you know about pyroluria?)

Pfeiffer recommends

1. Adequate B6 for dream recall (NTE 2gms qd)

2. Zinc (as gluconate) 30mg am &pm

3. Manganese (as gluconate) 10mg am &pm

4. if B6 produces numbness in extremities. Shift to pyridoxal phosphate at 1/10th dose of normal B6

I found it interesting that I have been trained in traditional psychiatry to medicate manic-depressives. Personally, I find this dreadful, as I think we lose a lot of great minds and creations when we do. Just think of all the historical geniuses who would fit the bipolar mold, and if they were living today, they would be medicated out of creating. (Not to offend anyone, but this would probably also include Jesus Christ, as he would certainly fit the bill for a Bipolar Psychotic, by today’s standards, just think about it). And all the actors, and others today who are strange and bizarre, well, some are getting medicated and they aren’t doing too much anymore.

will react with each other. That’s what they go to school for and have their resources behind the counter for.

Aside from that, most drugs do not build up in your body. That’s just wrong. They are specifically targeted to react with your body in a certain way, and therefore, be used up completely.

I don’t even know …
I don’t even know where to start with this one… One, the people who make the drugs aren’t the same ones who prescribe them. And yes, those who make them do understand I am one of them. It takes over 5 years of testing (after creating a drug) to make sure they’re safe before they ever reach the market. Generally, a doctor may prescribe drugs and their knowledge I cannot comment on, however, the pharmacist who keeps a record of all of the drugs the person is taking, does know how the drugs

Actually, the …
Actually, the mercury in vaccines (besides being a miniscule amount) has been eliminated in all childhood vaccines and almost every other (with exception to that of the flu) since 2001. And that was a miniscule amount within a small amount of preservative, of which there have been no findings of ill side effects. Supplements are not regulated by doctors, in fact many are “home grown” like the one in this video or are marketed by stores like GNC to turn a profit.

No offense, but duh …
No offense, but duh. That’s why medicines have a list of side effects (including death on most) in which case someone is supposed to stop taking that medicine and go to the hospital. I can also type in dihydrogen monoxide and find that it is linked to deaths, but I’m not going to stop using it. Most gains outweigh the drawbacks. Vitamins, as well as “herbal ingredients”, can cause debilitating illnesses and death. The “herbal ingredients” do not have to be listed, even though they may be deadly.

I have used their phone support, it was helpful. My daughter’s dr. was concerned w/ the Empower dosages when she was having stomach issues. But the Truehope helpline suggested it might be due to the antibiotics my daughter had just come off of, throwing off the balance in her stomach. A few days of a probiotic and she was back to normal.

I’m not into a lot of this naturopathic stuff, but it does seem like Western trained drs are hesitant unless something comes from a big drug company.

thats too bad, I’m really to hear that, ive been on it for a week now and shown significant improvement, while taking only 8 pills a day and being allowed up to 15. ADD is in some way or another a disorder thats developed in part because of parenting. Psychiatry begs to differ, but its the truth, parents are the most important and influential people in a persons life. If your still having troubles with your child i would suggest giving the empower capsules a shot

I got the powder because that`s what they recommended for my child. And yes they were supposed to help me. Part of the expensive payment they ADVERTISED included telephone follow-up and counseling. They never once called & when I wrote & told them that email was fine they said they preferred talking in person & would call but never did. I contacted them several times & always got the same remark. It was a snake oil rip off that I wish I hadn`t fallen for but I did b/c I was desparate for my son.

One of the biggest problems my group has isn’t convincing folks that they have a problem. It’s convincing them to address the biggest one first and then deal with the other stuff. Nobody seems to want to do that. Everyone wants a reason or an excuse. They want to worry about the big bruise on their arm when there leg is cut off and they are bleeding out.
