I don’t understand how blood stem cells work as an alternative medicine for cancer?

Posted by admin on Nov 23, 2009

A friend of mine just got back from South Korea where there is a famous blood stem cell Dr. This guy used in same fashion, blood stem cells from younger people with the same type of boold type as the patient. He also does Chemo along with his stem cell treatments. Anyone have any web sites out there I can take a look at? I’m confused as to how this would work?

There is a lot of stem cell quackery out there at the moment, but the truth is right now there are no legitimate stem cell therapies outside of research protocols. These scam artists only want your money, they don’t care about exploiting cancer patients.

Any success your South Korean doctor claims is most probably due to the chemo.

Edit: correction, I should have written "right now there are no legitimate stem cell therapies outside of research protocols, except for bone marrow or umbilical cord blood stem cells for conditions like leukemia and lymphoma, after chemotherapy.

Henry:

Its only purpose is to create new healthy cells since cancer destroys the other cells.
