It’s standard OP …
It’s standard OP for scientology to move in on a scene where people have been devastated by one thing or another. (They were at Ground Zero 9/11 within 48 hours ‘detoxifying’ the rescue workers.)

Applied Scholastics is a FRONT, a toe-in-the-door, it is contrived common sense, sold to the taxpayer at inflated prices (You’ll pay to know what you REALLY think!) by buying off or just outright bamboozling a gullible education district administrator or two.

Do you have a problem with that?

The Church of …
The Church of Scientology will say, do or claim ANYTHING to get their foot in the door of the public education system.

Scientologists realize that most adults are to smart to fall for their programming techniques these days, so children must be groomed for Scientology propaganda in any way possible.

Absolutely! I think it’s especially important to promote this message with the upcoming protest being themed along these lines.

I agree! The cult …
I agree! The cult and all cults are another form of serious addiction. Cult members certtainly act like junkies- they’ll do anything to get their next fix of the cult (lie, cheat, steal, “fair game”).

To let cults into schools si like letting herion dealers into the playground.

Yes I do have a problem with a cult corporation’s front group trying to prepare children in our school systems for indoctrination into their cult.

I feel sad for John …
I feel sad for John Travolta because:I think when a person has thier faith/belief system, it should inspire learning, knowledge, openmindedness, etc.I didn’t know he was gay, but truthfully I don’t feel like it’s my business. Then again,I felt like President Clinton’s situation with Ms. Lewinsky wasn’t my business either. We live in the information age, but some things should stay personal, or there will be no sense of individuality to see our constitution into the future. This is just an opinion.

You know Relyte22, …
You know Relyte22, some things do clear up if left alone, chilhood earaches for example. The thing is this: a parent should be able to explore all the options they are comfortable with. For some, the idea of pharmacorps and chemicals is not pleasant, usually those are the people who pay close attention to diet and food/body chemistry. For others it’s like,”what’s the big deal,if I feel better?” The point is that each human being is unique and nomatter how much progress we make,we can’t forget that.

Also I was …
Also I was diagnosed with Aspergers a long time ago. I guess my case wasn’t as extreme as others, since a lot of the barriers I used to face are no longer a part of me… and I didn’t get prescribed medication for it at all. And there were several people who were NOT Scientologists who told me it was made up by Psychiatrists to sell drugs. I imagine those people were brainwashed by Scientologists and don’t even realise it. I did however see a therapist who actually helped me.

Relyt22:

Actually, they …
Actually, they might try to target people with disabilities to claim that they can “cure” them of them. They also consider homosexuality to be a disorder and state of mind and claim they can cure you of that as well… they claim that they cured John Travolta of his homosexuality.

However, the reason for hiding his son has to do with the belief that a child born into Scientology is perfect in every way. Scientologists are in denial even if the proof is right under their nose.

Relyt22, I am …
Relyt22, I am flabbergasted by this information because if they identify someone as a PTS then through the use of thier fairgames policy they can just as easily set up someone for a car accident, and then say “look I told you they are SP.” So either way, once the person is targeted it doesn’t matter what they do because they are going to be attacked.:(:(:(OMG:(:(:(:(

ColectvIndvidulism:

OMG, that is not …
OMG, that is not fair. Autism is considered SPness? That’s silly. I am lucky to have had experiences with caring for a developmentally disabled child. We had a behavioural therapist come every week and she was awesome. scientologists don’t need to avoid people with challenges, they just need to learn skills from others(I recommend finding PhD Psychologists because they have obtained the highest educational level in thier field. Psychologists and behavioral therapists DO NOT prescribe drugs!

Relyt22:

Neighborhoods? No. …
Neighborhoods? No. But I do believe they count as PTS.

John Travolta supposedly hides his own son from the public because he is autistic.

April 13th, 2009 | 7:28 pm
Relyt22:

People who have …
People who have gone to these schools can confirm things like this, and there’s also information available about “PTS” (Potential Trouble Source), which means that if someone gets ill or injured, they’re PTS and hanging around them is not a good idea. So if you get sick, it means you’re hanging around someone who is PTS or quite possibly a suppressive person. That’s basically the insanity of Scientology and how easy it makes for people to disconnect from each other.

April 13th, 2009 | 7:28 pm
ColectvIndvidulism:

Also, what about …
Also, what about disabled or infirmed people? Do scientologists believe that “ruin” neighborhoods for them?

April 13th, 2009 | 7:28 pm
ColectvIndvidulism:

Relyt22, I don’t …
Relyt22, I don’t mean to sound stupid about this, I am still researching this subject, but are you serious about the “if they get sick” thing? Attention Scientologists: Provide a charitable fund for SPs so that they can move away from you. Provide them with a fast track to work visas, passports, and funding so that they can leave your areas. Then everything will be just perfect for you.

April 13th, 2009 | 7:28 pm
Relyt22:

Here’s another …
Here’s another weird one: If you get sick in Scientology school, and ethics officer tries to find which “suppressive person” you’re connected to that made you sick. You have to tell them the last time you felt upset around another human being, and because you felt upset, that person made you ill, and you will have to disconnect from that person. If that person goes to the school, they will be expelled.

Applied Scholastics …
Applied Scholastics is the worst Scientology front group of them all because it targets young school age children and tries to teach them the terminology created by Lafayette Ronald Hubbard. In fact, it sets the foundation for these kids to grow up Scientologists. A better name for Hubbard’s Study Technology is “Indoctrination Technology”.

Applied Scholastics is a front group for scientology. So is Narconon and CCHR.

people are sheep …
people are sheep just waiting for a flock to come up and tell them how and what to think. That really isn’t a bad thing, we simply are pack animals anyways, I just have always warned people to be careful on what the group asks you to do to afirm that you are with them.
