A Practical Guide is essential for anybody thinking of starting their own aromatherapy practice.
Carol Gilbey teaches both in the UK and at the Tokyo College of Aromatherapy. In this DVD she discusses the effects of different essential oils, their contra-indications and the various ways they may be used in aromatherapy. She also gives hints on how to treat patients in order to make a thorough medical diagnosis and she touches on the equipment you will need to open your own practice.

Afterwards there is a detailed demonstration of a full aromatherapy massage session, showing how to massage the feet, back, legs, arms, abdomen, chest and face.

Aromatherapy is the ancient art of using essential oils to bring about a change in the body. The oils have an affinity with target areas of our systems and can help to balance them.

Aromatherapy Candle

I ordered a Paul Robinett candle just to annoy the anti-commercial forces on YouTube. I bought fragrance #23, Sandalwood – Serenity. I like the aroma which reminds me of an arts store I used to visit. My cat does not like the smell though. I learned how to adjust the black/white balance in Adobe Premiere so some of the clips should look better.
