An iron-ore carrier sank outside Table Bay off the coast of South Africa and leaked thousands of litres of crude oil into the sea in July, 2000. Approximately 15,000 African penguins were affected and faced certain death.

Sarah Scarth, coordinator for the World-Wide Emergency Relief International Fund for Animal Welfare, said, “Without this incredible product, 15,000 penguins could have died.
