Daniel Pool Pech, a local Mayan shaman, is well known in the area. His relaxing and healing massages are beyond words. He learned his techniques through his dreams, where lights came to take him where he was shown massage, energy, and herbal therapies. He is often told that through him, a spirit heals a person of some illness or disease. “One of the best massages I´ve had. I liked his mixture of Western techniques and traditional Mayan ritual.”
