Shuler and his staff before HR comes up for vote again this summer. The amendment is part of the Justice Apporpiations Bill and will direct the federal government to stop interfering with patients and …

This is one of the good things about Congressman Shuler, he is a social conservative who votes with the majority of Christian Republicans on the important social issues.

Great job. It just …
Great job. It just seems our congressmen don’t give a !~

Our representatives won’t do . They cite “according to the FDA, there is no accepted medical use for marijuana” or you’ll get “I have serious concerns about this bill and believe it would hurt OUR war on drugs”

Bottom line is the government thinks they have the power to tell you what you can put in your body and MINDS! Give me Liberty or Give ME DEATH!

I agree. My first rally to draw attention to a Congressional Bill concerning cannabis as a medicine was in 1995 and Barney Frank introduced that one as well. Let’s get behind Barney!!!

Barney Frank’s …
Barney Frank’s pending bill seeks to eliminate all federal penalties prohibiting the personal use and possession of up to 100 grams (3 1/2 ounces) of marijuana. Under this measure, adults who consume cannabis would no longer face arrest, prison, or even the threat of a civil fine. The bill also eliminates all penalties prohibiting the not-for-profit transfers of up to one ounce of pot. This is a much better bill then the Hinchey-Rohrabacher Amendment! Let’s get behind Barney Frank!

If cannabis wasn’t …
If cannabis wasn’t a relatively safe and effective medicine do you think The American College of Physicians, 124,000 strong, would have released a position paper in Feb 08 endorsing its medical value and debunking “Reefer Madness” rhetoric?

To see the paper Google > American College of Physicians Marijuana. Pass it on!

“All truths pass through three stages. First it is ridiculed; second, it is violently opposed; third, it is accepted as self-evident.” We are in the third stage!

Great to see local …
Great to see local activists educating their representative leading up to this summer’s vote on the Hinchey-Rohrabacher Amendment on Justice Appropiations Bill in the U.S. House. Get all your patriotic friends to make their voice heard. Establish a dialogue with your elected officials – it’s their job to listen to you and it’s your job as a citizen to get involved.
